One of the most important steps in the songwriting and post-production process, mixing involves the audio file of each individual piece of the song (stems). It includes adjusting volume, adding effects, EQ, automation, and more. Mixing is essentially what makes your music sound, and most importantly feel, the way you want it to. It is the first step to making the song ready to publish and upload to streaming platforms.
MASTERING
Mastering is the final polishing of a song to REALLY make sure it's ready to be heard by the world the way it deserves to be heard. The mastering process irons out anything the mixing process might have missed and makes the sound of the song cohesive and akin to the rest of your music, or other music in the same genre for that matter.
